Design Creation:
Create innovative, visually appealing textile designs for various products like apparel, home textiles, and accessories, while adhering to brand guidelines and client preferences.
Trend Research & Analysis:
Stay updated with the latest design trends, color palettes, fabric patterns, and market demands to ensure the designs are current and aligned with customer expectations.
Fabric and Material Selection:
Choose suitable fabrics, textures, and finishes that complement design concepts and are functional for production.
Mockups and Prototypes:
Prepare design mockups and prototypes, presenting them to clients or internal teams for approval before moving forward with production.
Collaboration with Production Teams:
Work closely with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and align with production capabilities.
Digital Design Tools:
Use design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD systems to create and modify textile patterns and designs.
Color Theory Application:
Apply color theory effectively to create harmonious designs that enhance the appeal and functionality of the textiles.
Quality Control:
Review finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and maintain quality standards.
Client Communication:
Present design concepts to clients, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments based on client input.
Custom Designs & Special Projects:
Develop bespoke textile patterns for special projects or custom requests, ensuring designs align with client requirements and trends.
Time Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring all work is delivered on time and within budget.
Production Support:
Provide design support during the production process, ensuring any design-related issues are resolved promptly.
Design Software Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and CAD software (for textile design).
Textile Design Knowledge:
Strong understanding of fabric types, patterns, textures, and printing techniques (screen printing, digital printing, embroidery, etc.).
Color Theory & Composition:
Expertise in color palettes, color matching, and creating visually balanced designs that enhance fabric patterns.
Creativity & Innovation:
Ability to come up with fresh, out-of-the-box design ideas that align with current trends, customer needs, and market demands.
Attention to Detail:
Strong focus on the smallest details, ensuring high-quality and precise designs, from color consistency to pattern alignment.
Trend Awareness:
Keeping up with fashion, textile, and interior design trends to create relevant and on-trend designs for various collections.

Clear communication with clients, production teams, and other departments to effectively translate design concepts into final products.

Textile Printing Techniques:

Pattern Making:
Experience with creating and modifying patterns, especially for apparel or home textile items.
Knowledge of Textile Production:
Understanding of how designs translate to finished products, including material handling and design adjustments to suit different production methods.
Client Interaction & Presentation:
Ability to present designs clearly to clients, accept constructive feedback, and incorporate revisions effectively.
Branding & Visual Identity:
Ability to design in accordance with the brandβs visual identity, creating designs that are consistent with the company's aesthetic and market positioning.
Project Management:
