Sales Consultant
The primary role of an Automotive Sales Consultant is to sell new and/or used vehicles to customers while achieving sales goals and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. They act as the customer's guide throughout the car-buying process.
Job Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Greet and build rapport with potential buyers, actively listening to determine their needs, preferences, and budget.
Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of all vehicles, features, and financing/warranty options to effectively present suitable models.
Sales Facilitation: Conduct vehicle demonstrations, coordinate and accompany customers on test drives, and answer all questions related to the vehicle and the sales process.
Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing, trade-in values, and terms of sale to reach a mutually beneficial agreement and close the deal.
Administrative Tasks: Accurately complete all required sales contracts and financing paperwork.
Follow-Up & Retention: Maintain customer relationships through follow-up communication to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the dealership's overall success.
